The OSL in itself is really well done, but when you cant see the source of the light it ends up a bit weird. Regarding the score of this site, you really should not worry to much about it- just a few minuts ago I had to comment on another miniature, that he simply did not deserve such a high score compared to many other miniatures on the site. Talking about this one: http://www.coolminiornot.com/352840?browseid=8450774 I get a bit angry when miniatures dont get the score they deserve, but even more angry when a miniature gets a way to high score compared to what it is, and compared to miniatures like this that only get an 8.

Actually from what I've heard, researched and seen for myself the scoring does not mirror the skill level behind the mini. It's a shame because common sense says it should. But 9.000 members made up of pros, kids and other types is just about as subjective as subjective gets. What I think is its a different audience each time a mini is posted it could even be the fact of some people are fans of a riptide model and they're the ones voting on that given day. So it really comes down to you know what your minis deserve and that's that. I really don't see the scores mirroring the efforts that go into a model. So I'll leave you with two things bud. 1) I've seen bad models get great scores and vice versa on this site.and 2) Todd Swanson (7..yes 7time slayer sword and 22 plus gold demon awards is ranked 700ds. Does this really make any sense. 3) your work and airbrush skills are one of the best in my opinion. And I've won a few demon awards to know what's good what's better and what's best. The score just don't ever really match up. The audience is too diluted with so many diff levels and so many diff ages. If I were as good as you I wouldn't even be concerned about it. Just keri cranking outlovely minis and I'll keep tellin ya how great and appreciated they are.
