Great War Troll

I have decided to add some more spikes to my troll (armour and glove) and finished him. I think this is his final state and he is going to be cast like this. I plan doing some optional heads, weapons, arms in the future. It seems I start learning taking better pictures of my minis ;). Please comment!

Great sculpt - love him, full of character. IMHO the only problem with the feet are thinner ankles are needed - that's all. Maybe an increase in size of the head in proportion to the body would improve him too. Don't worry about the rating scores - most people who rate greens have never built one from scratch :-)

Thanx for the feedback. Actually I wasn't absolutely satisfied with his feet and now I know why. I think the fact that the toes on his left foot have no contact to the ground cause that strange impression of him falling back. However he is not attached to the base properly which might also give the impression of him hovering over the base. I just quickly put him on the base for taking the pictures. After taking the pictures I removed some material under his right foot to even the surface and make better base-contact. Also, normally he leans forward a bit more than on the pictures. I will have another close look on his feet to see if I need to make some corrections, either remove some material under his left foot to allow the toes to contact the ground or ajust the toes themselves.

I like the miniature in general, although I do agree that the legs/feet need some working. It looks like the troll is on the heel of his feet, while where the center of mass appears to be, he should be more on the toes. The effect it gives is that the troll was just sucker punched in the gut, and is in the act of falling backwards. FWIW, his left foot also looks a bit supinated, while his right foot looks a bit pronated, mainly due to how the centers of the leg lines come down into contact with the feet themselves. It just looks a little awkward, although is fixable by adding terrain to the base. The armor, I like, upper body is good, I'd personally like a touch more definition in the abdomen and on the flesh of the arms (at least compared to the legs).
