Irdril of the Silent Arrow - stone cast

Well of course he's purple... he's an elf. Everyone knows elves are supposed to be purple... maybe :) Ok, this is an experiment. I kinda like the scheme and i know some others who don't, but i can't make up my mind what to do with this chap. Any suggestinos other than start over? :D ::: Edit - Due to comments received (thanks :) ) I thought I'd better point out that this is NOT an attempt at NMM, but stone :::

I think the stone effect is very good, especially around the shoulder pad. Maybe the rest of the stone armor would benefit from random hairline cracks? Either way, that purply skin and brooding look is wonderful.

The color scheme and skin tone are killer. It makes the fig look really menacing. Nice try on the "stone" effect.

Someone asked me how I did the armour effect and after explaining it to them I pointed out that you have to be careful doing this because most people will just think that you're doing a bad nmm rather than what it is. Looks like i was right. This is not even an attempt at nmm, it is supposed to be stone. Maybe o should have commented on that in the preamble... next time I will :) Thanks for the comments which are appreciated, but for the record this is more like NMNM (Non Metallic Non Metal)
