Memento Mōri Details
I present to you "Memento Mōri" Memento Mori is Latin and originally meant something like "Remember your mortality" but in this case it is intended to mean "remember the clan Mōri" The Mōri Family was a clan that dominated the strategic western Honshu region of south-central Japan from early in the 16th century to the middle of the 19th century. This diorama shows a samurai of the clan Mōri which rides home even though he has fallen in a battle. that is loyalty to the dead! The mini is the Undead Samurai from DarkHammer miniatures. it was pure joy to build this diorama. hope you like it. Check out my Facebook page for tutorials and more cool stuff!
