I was set to disagree with Calas (respectfully of course) regarding the gold, however on closer examination I think it does need just a little something to make the gold come out, maybe even just a light silver highlight? Also I really like the base, the blood takes the simple colour out of the base to a certain degree but not sure if that's a good thing or not...
All in all a great piece!
