"First stab"? Ever, or at this particular mini? If this is your first ever mini, then good job! You've avoided all of the usual early errors of too much paint or no attention to composition. You could have used colours to emphasize the horror of this mini more (say around the face, or picking out the highlights of the bones), but generally speaking this is fine work.
Very good first "try" and great figure to start on. How old is this guy? It looks like it's been well used and loved. Or is that just how you painted it? Good job
Nice for your first mini ever! It looks like you highlighted everything up to the same greenish color.. is that really what it looks like, or is that color supposed to be white? I can't tell. Did you do some sort of art before this?
