I painted this for a friend as a wedding gift....the bachelor party is tomorrow....barely finished in time! :) If I had more time I'd polish it more. Guess that's as "done" as it's gonna get! Comments and constructive critique welcome.
Yeah, Conan. The groom is a fan of the books. I agree about the marbling; if my friend could just have waited a little longer to get married, I could have polished them up! Still, I'm mostly pleased with it, and so was he! :)
Really great zozimus. That's some wedding cake topper. The contrast on the model are very subtle which is how I prefer shadow and light contrasts to be. The marble streaks (the squiggly lines ) could've been a little tighter (skinnier , sharper lol etc) really a lovely piece though.
