Space Marine Terminator Chaplain
I had a nice story all written out, but the image was too big and didn't post, and the story was lost in the Aether. So, long story short: This model is the culmination of, well, pretty much all of my painting knowledge. I mean, I finished it nearly a month ago and I've learned quite a bit since then, but at the time, it was my best. It was part of a resurrection attempt after I had shortsightedly drowned the majority of my Space Marines in red acrylic-enamel so I could participate in an apocalypse game. This Chaplain, made of metal, and a 5 man squad of Finecast Sternguard Veterans were the only survivors. The Vets fell prey to the monochromatic color scheme of the Brazen Minotaurs, being left with a basic paint job that didn't do them justice. The Chaplain emerged with more success, given the fact that I kept to the standard Chaplain color scheme. In a cruel twist of fate, the one day I was able to borrow a camera that was supposedly capable of taking great pictures of miniatures was the day said camera gave up, lasting through the army I had painted for commission, and no more. So, this model, and a few others, were taken with my iPhone 5 camera. Now, I'm not sure how high-quality these pictures are, but if it isn't all that great, I'll work on getting better ones taken.
