Necron Imotekh the Stormlord
No big story for this one. I wanted to start Necrons, bought a box of Immortals as troops and Imotekh because he looked cool. I was planning on using him as an Overlord. So I painted him up, and got this. Not bad, IMHO. I made a professionally artistic decision to not do the super busy electric cape, and got this one, which I actually like quite a bit more. One of his fingertips was missing right out of the box, and I have neither the skill nor the supply to remake it with Green Stuff. In a cruel twist of fate, the one day I was able to borrow a camera that was supposedly capable of taking great pictures of miniatures was the day said camera gave up, lasting through the army I had painted for commission, and no more. So, this model, and a few others, were taken with my iPhone 5 camera. Now, I'm not sure how high-quality these pictures are, but if it isn't all that great, I'll work on getting better ones taken.
