This is my first attempt at painting non metallic metal. I think it came out pretty well. I'm still learning so any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks for your comment and vote Lone Lemming. Now you say, I think you are right. The gloves where painted in a different tone of brown but the colors might be a bit to close.
