I'm new here, and to painting. I don't understand some of the scores. I totally agree with cpt. Neatness will come with practice, you're selecting good colours and trying with shadow and high lights. I'm not good at painting at all, but love to see all standards and seeing people try, and enjoying.
I don't think a rating of 2 is fair or realistic. And it doesn't encourage new painters to try. A 2 would be slopping think paint all over the mini with no rhyme or reason. This guys placed good choices of colours in good places. Work on your neetness thin your paint. And keep goin. Good job
