From the looks of it I think you've got the hang of it. I agree with Fuseboy that at a quick glance he doesn't look that good. I think that the lemon green shirt detracts a great deal from this mini. You should've stuck with the good earthtones you exhibit on his pants, boots and the off-white cloth. Some details of the figure needs more attention, like the leather armor on his forearms. He needs some more contrast where the skin meets clothing (blacklining or shadowing). Anyways, don't let the scores put you down. You're on to something good and if you keep going I'm sure you'll get better scores eventually...

i was kinda wondering how the green would turn out myself. there are far better colors i could have used but i think it turned out pretty good. thanks for the comments.

please explain to me how i am getting less than a 5. i know im not the best painter in the world but what does it take to get at least a 6 around here. the only mini ive ever had a 6 with stayed a six for one day and then dropped to a 5.7. id love some advice.
