Kudos on posting such a detailed large picture. Shows every little detail, way to go. I have a feeling some of the higher rated minis here would have lower scores if we could see the detail like this. As mentioned below, thining your paint may help a bit, or it could be your primer, some do not coat very evenly. The blue looks great as does the blacklining on the tubes. The one thing I would definately change is the colour of the quill. It gets lost in with the other dark colours on the mini. Maybe an off white to off set the paper...
