I like the idea behid the painting of his robes. Very original with the flourescent yellow. I think it makes the figure look to homogenous however and it's hard to tell one thing from another around his belt area on the right. The face is done well, nice and bold, but IMO the skull and the scroll are both too white. Mixing in a little yellow to your white and washing the bones and scroll with brown ink or thinned paint would make them look better. The base being incomplete without a description of why might make you lose score though.
