ROMAN BALLISTA

Another of my functional siege machines, the Roman Ballista. Its measures: 170x160x120mm. This torsion-powered warmachine was developed in the ancient Greece and later improved by the Romans. As they were so heavy and their rate of fire quite slow, they were normally used as fixed emplacement weapons and not as mobile weapons. A construction completely realistic and functional. You can also visit my STORE and personal blog where you can find more pictures and works. Go to the STORE Personal Blog Take a look at this machine in action on Youtube: Ballista video
