The Hunt

Here's my latest sculpt - The Hunt - depicting the dragon rider Ra'aana on her Raptor/Dragon Magnus during a hunt for the mythical fire boar... I sculpted both on an armature made from a metal clothes hanger with SuperSculpey (firm underneath, standard on top) and made the details from GreenStuff and ProCreate. Both figures were painted using Vallejo's Game Color. you can read the step-by-step here: http://fischers-design-shop.blogspot.de/2015/03/the-hunt-1.html

Gandalf the Grey
That is stupidly good, both the sculpt and the paint. Incredible talent.

Yup. Your sculpting skills are definitely top notch. What scale are we looking at here? Thank you too for mentioning the materials used, this is always helpful. I must say that they painting leaves a bit to be desired, but one thing about it that is done great is the underpainting of the lizard in bright saturated colors. I've seen this technique on dragons and such and it is very effective. I rate you on the sculpt

Hey Santa, coming from the forum to comment and vote! Which size it is? it seems rather big +54mm scale or more I mean. It looks like a nice sculpt with nice proportions (both human and animal) and it has lots of movement! Although I think you could work the "texture" on the skin because it is the same on all the raptor whereas I can't imagine myself pushing that circular form a myriad of times! xD Congratulations!
