You need more light on the pic so we can appreciate everything better, try to increase the light on your next picture ;)
Nice first try by the way, the swirls on the orb look pretty good. The green gradients on the blade need to be a smoother. Have a look on Tero's corner WIP (at forums) to see lots of metallic necrons painted amazingly to have some inspiration. ;)
