Capricious and Cruel Dryads in a Fairy Forest..
I've painted this Wood Elves Dryads unit in 2012 and made a "forest" for them (yeah, I know that there is only one tree, but hey! who told you that to represent a wood you need many trees? =) I admit, my goal was to make a 6" in diameter base with 3 trees on it, just like in Citadel Wood, but I used too much wire on the first tree and decided to make it a huge loner! - you can find a tutorial on my blog). For my Wood Elves army, I've chosen the autumn theme as it is more colorful and gives me more space as far as painting is concerned. I've also decided to make my own Branchwraith and I am quite happy with the results =) I really had fun painting Dryads! I always thought that Waywatchers were the most beautiful Wood Elves unit, but now I am not so sure! There are so many ways you can assemble Dryads and painting them is very rewarding!
