Lord of Change

Hello and thanks for looking. I present to you a commission piece I'm very pleased with giving it my all on. I was rather hesitant at first to take on this massive miniature...but in the end I was very happy I accepted the task and grateful the client chose me to paint it for them. The client wanted the paint scheme similar to the color scheme of another lord of change he saw on this website. They let me have free reign on most of how I painted the mini as long as it covered the basics in colors. The paint job was display standard but he had plans on using the miniature on the gaming table. The client had instructions not to mount the mini on a base since they was going to base it themselves. I know one things for certain...I need to get a bigger paint box. I had to improvise. This guy is massive!!! Hope you like.

Thanks for the comment Hellogre. Yes, I used a combination of airbrush and brush work on his wings/robe and skin. Everything else was strictly brushwork.

Thanks for comment Parodius. As per the request of the client I did not create a base for the miniature. They preferred to build their own for the bird. Wish I could have built something for it though. Maybe next time :)
