Fun to paint. The crystal ball was done using a watercolor style. Prime white, clean water wash, dabs of blue and brown paint (thinned down), the color flows in a random fashion creating a swirly cloud like effect. I then glossed the crystal ball with Micro-Coat gloss after the dull coat.
