Blood Angels Sanguinary Guard (Single Axe)

This is the second mini that I have painted and the first that I have completed. It's basically the one that really got me addicted to this fantastic hobby. As always, any comments, advice or constructive criticism is welcome.

Thank you so much for the input BloodASmedium! I'll definitely try to track that book down - I've been looking for something to expand my knowledge of colour theory. Great tip for the shading colours - I'll try to apply that in the future.

The whites are very well done nice and smoothe.try looking up blacklining (but youde use dark brown o dark grey) it's one of the more easier advanced techniques that nice used it's an immediate mprovement.also get a book titled color theory by Betty ecwards...it will clue you in on how the more experienced painting ters achieve much more attractive models from adding in complimentary and analogous colors.fo example next time you paint gold instead of shading a brown (warm yellow brown is really what gold is ) with a darker brown look on the color wheel (12 color color wheel) match your basecolor let's say gold goes with matched to yellow the opposite color on the wheel and that's it's compliment is a blue so that would be more pleasing to the eye adding blue to the yellow or gold and shading with that.
