My First Ever Ultramarine

What do you think of the blues? Too much blue? I will try again with another basic marine with a darker duller blue because I'm going for the more realistic look and while I really like this blue it might be a bit too bright.

Pretty fine work for your first ever! Take a bow. And that looks pretty dead on for Ultramarines blue to me.

Looks fantastic for a first mini! great job on the highlights and as Zab said refining the top most highlights will really help. As for more realistic a slightly darker overall blue might help that. Take a look at some of the top rated space marine librarians for examples! :)
