Thanks man. I tried a wash on those rocks before and it just dulled them too much and they looked worse. My whole board is done that way though so it at least matches all around :)

I like the rocks, they work well, it was just the sand for me that was too bright. You could always just put a wash of brown or black over the sand if you wanted, wouldn't take long. Bet the army looks awesome if they are all painted like this model!

Fair enough. Problem is I'm way too far into the army and lazy to change how I'd based them haha. I agree though I hate the rocks.
