My Take on Logan Grimnar

This is my very first time using a big block for a base (as compared to the flat gaming bases). I feel pretty happy with the result. It's my first time photographing with a DSLR and I'm also quite happy with the results but I need to buy some backgrounds now because the white is not really suitable for this one. As for the scene, this is a pretty cliche model however it's not based on Fenris. There are not a lot of times that LG has faced chaos space marines and when he has he was much younger so this is actually a "current" setting fighting the black legion on one of the ice death worlds near Cadia during the 13th Black Crusade.

I actually did drill them out when I was assembling but I screwed them up and they were out of proper alignment so I filled them with putty since then I painted and was going to drill them again at the end which I have done (just forgot before I took these photo's) and have done since and unfortunately they are slightly out of alignment again because the drill just went straight into the putty instead of the plastic. doh

a nice mini on a nice base marred by the fact you didn't bother either drilling out the gun barrels or bother to use just a drop of black to reperesent them.
