Dark Eldar Haemonculus Siticus the Resplendent
This is a conversion based on the plastic Dark Eldar Archon model. To me, the Dark Eldar haemonculi don't quite fit my vision of what a flesh-crafting artisan would do if he had infinite freedom. The fleshy forms of the GW vision for the Haemonculi seem too utilitarian for me, with a complete lack of artistic touch. The vision I had was of a gold-clad haemonculus puppeteering an army of his diabolical creations, his very stature displaying inhuman arrogance. If one were to play god, one should resemble one as well! This model was my first try of the loaded brush blending technique and I have to say I really like how it turned out, it's perfect for non-metallics. Painted with brushes only.
