Sorry but the massive difference in quality between the mini and the backdrop spoils this for me. While the mini is VERY well done the backdrop seems to show a lack of effort, gaps in the bricks, a flat drybrushed paint job with no shadowing just detracts from this. Taking the painting of the backdrop up to a similar level of the mini is not easy but for a competition level miniature is a neccessity.
I agree about the pose..that's little personal shortcoming is still not enough for me to vote anything other than a ten/ten for this amazing job.
A little trick I use as well as many other stints when It comes to positioning dynamics of a model is -wherever the foot or knee or whatever the part of the model that connects to where it's being positioned ,should be flushed or parallel to the bottom of the foot . Iow the soul ,if it's perpendicular like it is here itl always look a bit funny.now the only other thing that could've been done to show a dynamic landing would been to have resulted the whole left foot on an angle so it stays flushed to the piece of the landing where it connects.if your a modeller if not just find a leveled off piece next time that the foots sole is flushed against it.just something to think about.great great work here nonetheless.
