Thank you for your vote. Regarding the eyes. It was a conscious decision to make his eyes appear more human as he is wearing clothing and a hat so he is more of anthropomorphic style orangutan. Sort of in the spirit of the old planet of the apes movies. In addition not all Orangutans have full eye orbit color they will have a small "white of the eye". We decided (the sculptor and I) to increase the white of the eye smaller to again take him more anthropomorphic or more human like. Really just an artistic decision.
