I think the eyes hurt the whole mini. The matte sealer will help the rest, but you might want to check out a few of the "painting eyes" articles right here on the CMON site.

I've looked at a few of your models now and the only real problem is the use of gloss varnish on the figures. If you take a photograph under lighting of a gloss varnished model it gives an overly shiny appearance and therefore the realism of the piece drops.
If you like using gloss for durability try photographing your model before varnishing it, then following a gloss coat use a matt coat to reduce the shiny finish.
Also consider using a lighter flesh tone for the Hobbit flesh, they look a little too dark for halflings of Middle Earth, finally practice the eyes of the models a little better.
Apart from that, very neat work and very nice bases. :)
