Completely agree with the comment from Helgar, it gives a strong impression to be an ilustration and not a 3D miniature.
The fact that the background was cropped out (or I think so) and replaced with a plain and clean white colour, and the texture of the work (grainy) that the image processor (I am supposing this) added to the image just sums up to that 2D feeling.
So pretty impressive work. Congratulations.

It really captures the book cover art colors and of course this pose rocks!!
I love this piece mostly because it's Conan and also because you've done a masterful job at brining him to life! My hats off to you.
