Salamanders Tactical Squad
My first squad of Salamanders - unusual color scheme, I know it's not "how Salamanders are done"; but I never liked the usual bright emerald scheme, always thought it looked kinda ridiculous. Too similar to the Dark Angels, as well. But I love their fluff, so after a few attempts on some backpacks I came up with this scheme. Need to work out some more details, there's obviously room for improvement, but that's why I started with some grunts first. Overall, I'm pretty happy with how they turned out, considering that they are my first Space Marines in more than 15 years (first paint job in more than 15 years even). So glad I revived this awesome hobby! :-D
