I followed the advice a read on a forum. It said 'if you want to really improve your painting skills try something different!'. Here is my different. Not the best photo as taken from a phone but I'll update it shortly. Need to touch up some of the metallic, and see if the sword comes out better on a different camera. I enjoyed it so much I've got a few more to paint up.

this is the highest score I have given to this miniature!The reason for giving this a 7 is that the higher scored Ivanka's on here have huge eyes and don't warrant their scores for a myriad of reasons. I love your freehand effort and most of all - I love your honesty in challenging yourself to improve and seeking forum advice (always good). reminds me why we are on here. Check out BloodAsMedium for inspiration!

Cheers Morghul and thanks for the rating. It took a while to get the eyes like that, then again she is my test piece. :-) and she does look a lot better in real life. Really need to get some better pictures up.
