Hello Orjatar!! Congratulations on your first corsairs!!
I have just seen your second batch of corsairs too... I prefer their variation of colour anyway I like how you choose your colours.
For this particular group (first) your pics went on a bit dark, it's nice for an ambience pic, but not for people to appreciate your work, but you solved the issue on the second group of corsairs so, you probably learnt this by now.
I would suggest you to thin your paint a bit more, so maybe you need to paint the same surface twice or more passes to cover it but in that way you won't "hide" details on the miniature. It would also help you to correct any occasional error with just a "wipe" from another clean brush. It will also help you in doing softer transitions in betwen your highlights and your shadows.
It maybe interesting entering the forums and ask/search for any questions you might need to resolve, there is a lot of people willing to help there!
