Yes welcome back to painting. Finishing the base will compliment the mini also.

Welcome back. Suggestions: I have noticed that a photo that is extremely magnified like this one can get your paint job down rated, something to do with what we are used to seeing I expect. This picture shows the graininess of the paint job, give us a picture that is not as close-up, more like a view of the figure held within a few inches of your eyes rather than one seen through a magnifying glass. Look at the photos of ones that are rated high for optimum magnification. Secondly, higher rated pictures always have something going on at the base. Add a bit of sand and maybe stone to the base . Coarse sand next to fine sand or even just next to the smooth plastic lets you paint the coarse sand as though it were grass on bare dirt, which adds more interest. To give you a 7 I expect to see more evidence of shading in the folds of the fabric, additions to the base and no graininess visible in the paint at a somewhat lower magnification..
