Vostroyan Firstborn Commander

This model is probably one of my better efforts so far though I still have a long way to go. I'm not particularly proud of the basing, something that I'll redo when I figure out how I want to base the model. Any comments of critiques are appreciated.

Hello! That's a nice effort! You have some nice colours here ;) Problems I see are that you paint still has some texture, so try to dilute it a bit more, you seem to have the right texture here and there but not on every place. You should have placed some more focus on his face (now it's a bit too dark maybe it's because of the picture) It is cool that the green on the base is repeated on to the breast gem and onto the feather on the hat. Since this miniature looks like he should be in a cold environment you could try to implement that on your next base. I do not know certaintly if you drybrushed some of the details on the highest light zones, if you did stop doing it, drybrushing has a downside (or not if you know it) and it is that it gaves a lot of texture, so take care or it can ruin your previous work! I also see some nice colours on the plated armour that's a start of a nice metallic future ^^
