Crocostimpy (Sebeki Master of Words)

Got a wild idea to paint this as a crocostimpy from the Ren and Stimpy Show. I'd always intended to go back over it to shade/highlight the orange hide better, and give it an actual base that was decorated and fit the theme. But after two years of it sitting in the cabinet, it's nearly time to concede that it's not getting the extra details any time soon, and I still don't have a good idea for the base.
