Pathfinder Dragon

After several years I finally finished this dragon last year. And after several month I finally took some decent photos of the finished piece, me lazy bastard. ;-) The whole base is scratchbuild and all handpainted with acrylics. You can find a couple of w.i.p. images of it on my website, of you like to know how I made it. Cheers ---www.theminiaturegallery.de---

Thanks for your honest thoughts. Actually I haven't thought much about it and just wanted to finish this dragon. Sometimes a model is just a model. It is far from being perfect, but I like it. And this piece was already called done last year, so no changes will be made anyway. ;-)

Dragon and base, each on its own would get you a nine from my side. It is only the combination, with the dragon looking a bit too cartoony in the very realistic and detailed landscape, leading me to only giving eight points for the piece as a whole. I guess the thought was contrasting the dragons blazing orange with a cool green. Maybe you went a bit far with that or did it too strictly. I feel it might help picking up the dragons colours in some places to pull him more into the scene. Or call it done and move on to the next masterpiece!
Thank you for showing, Dirk.
