The leather on these figures was kind of an experiment. I used Shadow Grey on the edges of the material and followed up with Skull White on the very most tips of the edges. I then used Black ink dilluted with water, taking care to wipe off some of the excess, until the grey and white looked as if it blended. The ink gave the leather a bit of a gloss as well.

I use a nearly identical scheme for black, except that I use blue ink instead of black. I think it looks less chalky, though looking at your minis I don't see that chalky look. Great seeing well painted Skaven, seems they are a rarity.
