This vignette features a great zombie from Red Box. bgcdazzler pointed out the pervasive theme of 'decay' in this piece, so I'll try to honor his accurate judgement in the title. Thanks to everyone who offered encouragement and criticism. To give a sense of scale, the black cube is 1.5 inches per side. If you'd like to see how I put this scene together, my WIP thread has many pictures of the building and finishing process, other views, and a log of how the idea changed based upon feedback from my friends on CMoN. Great piece Saint, the only thing which bugs me a tiny amount is the fern in the front right, it's look a bit to plastic-y for my taste but then again, that's nitpicking... Can definitly see the scene with the zombie shambling forth looking for more brains! Nice dirtweathering on the feet and pants also!!

Absolutely love this base. I feel like I'm wandering through a mosquito-ridden plague infested jungle. There is a bit of a disconnect with the zombie, but nice job overall!

I agree with darthmarsh on the base disconnection from the zombie... anyway I love the base and the zombie tooo! PS: base is between a 9 and a 10 for me ^^ should you link zombie and base a little more it will get higher votings... I am sure. Another point you could improve is that the plants at the leftmost part look like just one tint of green... plants are not one colour you could work into it with fresher greens or darker browns to gave it variation ;)
