HeroQuest Goblin

This is my first attempt at painting my minis after years of laziness. Please be kind and give me feedback. The base is meant to look like the heroquest board also.

Good start, but it looks unfinished. Specifically, it looks like you painted the base coat and then washed the entire mini with a black or dark brown wash. Is this correct? If so, it's a good start, but you need to do the next step: Highlights! Hilight or blend in the raised portions of his face with increasingly brighter greens. :thumbsup

Unfortunately, I dont have a very steady hand so some techniques look a little sloppy i guess you would say. The base is an enamel battelship grey with a citadel black mixed with water washed over it. Then when I sprayed a sealent on it the crackling effect took place. More of an accident turned into a neat effect. Im think of highlighting those with a grass green color to look like moss or something. Thanks for the comment.

Not bad at all. It's good to see a pic with a decent size instead of all the thumbnails ;) The paintjob on the goblin looks a little sloppy. Try blacklining between the different areas on the figure. The base is excellent. How did you paint it?
