LOTR - Saruman
Here's the completed version of Saruman that I was doing. I've added a base and given the palantir a blazing eye.... not at all easy at that small size... Personally I feel this figure from the line looks the most like the actual actor. I like the realistic look, so you wont find panda eyes and really dark blacklining on most of my minis. Ive done a little experimenting with white, trying to play around with colours to see if I cant come up with a richer, more dramatic way of expressing this rather flat colour. Cos white arent always pure white in real life, and I kinda thot Saruman's outfit was kinda cream or even a little ivory yellow in the movies.... but it could jus be the lighting of course.
