Thank you! I used Vallejo pigments for the bases as well as the "dust" on the actual grots. Specifically for the bases I used Burnt Umber -> Brown Iron Oxide -> Dark Red Ochre. Starting with Burnt Umber I mix it with water and paint it on, then I stipple on some of the Brown Iron Oxide while it is still wet, and finally stipple in the Dark Red Ochre in some spots, also dusting the feet/legs of the minis. It has a tendency to sort of fall off if the previous layers aren't wet enough, so to be sure I don't get red pigment everywhere I usually seal it with some varnish.

I really like the goggles on the front centre Gretchin. I just found a box of old metal gretchin today and I might steal the red base you have there for mine. It really stands out against the green flesh tones. Did you layer red paint on the feet etc or did you use pigments? Nice work anyhow.

Thanks! I'm going for a "Mad Max on Mars"-theme for the army. Sorry about the slightly blurry picture, probably need to get a tripod or something.
