Thanks! I'm annoyed I didn't take any WIP shots of this. I'll try to cover the main steps: I wanted to use the right arm that has a staff sort of held in the crook of the elbow so that had to be all hacked out first. It's also the arm with the crystal ball so I removed that and used one of the hands from the same kit (holding a sword), a staff top and some green stuff to do the ataff arm.
For the head, I used the one with the skull cap and forked beard and shaved off part of the lower half of the head. I then sculpted on the cowl to cover the bottom half of the face - still new to conversions so don't have any real tools but a needle and fingers sufficed.
The hat was made in two parts. For the brim I moulded some green stuff over the lid of a citadel paint pot, the curve is perfect for a slightly droopy hat brim. Allowed that to set and then sculpted the steeple on top.
I think that covers everything ^____^
10/10 if for nothing more than nostalgia and a well done conversion. I think I could figure out how you did it and what pieces you used, but I'd love a step-by-step. Almost makes me want to start an Empire army for AoS.
