A camera tripod would help immensely. The blurry photo is making it hard to see the mini. You may want to use a piece of paper instead of your hand for the background, the colors are somewhat similar. It looks like you are using a glossy varnish, that takes away some from the paintjob in my opinion. Otherwise you have a good clean start.
I would suggest taking a better picture and resubmitting it. Don't hold your mini to photograph it, put it on a solid colored background, and make sure it's in focus. A decent paint job will get a crappy score if the picture is terrible.
