This was actually my first metal mini...I generally paint Bones. I really enjoyed painting her, as well as basing her. I used stripped down twist ties for the seaweed. All C and C are welcome and appreciated!
Thank you for the comment and advice, Twisted Yuppie. I have started thinning down my paints a lot more on my current projects, as well as using more layering techniques rather than the base/wash/drybrush method. I'm hoping that will start getting me some better ratings. :)
Its interesting seeing your progression through all the pic's you have posted. This one shows you are starting to get to grips with the paint a little better. Just remember many thin layers rather than one or two coats yield a better smoother finish. Great thinking with the twist ties they look great. Keep up the good work.
