Naval mines from WWI?? 9.5 for sure! Now I see what you did- you've got portions of the Latin inscriptions on both sides of the painted 2-D scrolls. Cool.

@SaintToad: Thanks. I think much is owed to the macrozoom. The rusty metal bits are actually fragments of a naval mine from WW1. I love to take care of some special details. According to (my version) of the Angels of Vigilance chapter history I chose some latin phrases (and hope that I remember a bit from my latin classes...). MORS CERTA (HORA INCERTA) = Death is for sure, its hour not yet. SUBRIDET MORS OMNIBVS NOBIS = Death smiles at all of us. SI HOC LEGERE POTES, NIMIS EDVCATVS ES = If you can read this, you are well educated. ;-)

One can spot some technical limitations (which I'm sure you'll conquer), but this is an awesome diorama. The scene is packed with interesting details, the gaming bases are very cleverly integrated, the characters have, er, lots of character. Even the wood itself has a story! Just a great job all around. Keep up the ambitious work! P.S. I can't really make out the full Latin inscription. Any help?
