Decided to use some of my fiery miniature techniques on a larger scale kit and pulled out Volks 1/6 Silene Fire. It's really quite an impressive sculpt ... I really can't imagine how much time and effort went in to sculpting all those flames. The entire piece was hand-painted using Vallejo acrylics and inks. Amazing. Really like the sculpt. Maybe I would add bit of yellows to fire but still its great. Love skin tones, looks so realistic witch that bit of shine from light.

Outstanding! She practically glows. Interesting contrast between the flames and the skin- nice texture on the skin, as well.
