Awesome job. I love the bounce light onto his lower body and the simple, well-executed color scheme. I think you could use another highlight on the top of the backpack, which looks like it only got up to a midtone. Also, the pose is strange: if he were standing there... well, he couldn't. Just a few suggestions for next time- the scene and painting are great.
