A little bit too much ink for my taste. especially on the wooden and leather parts. that´s what makes the minis glossy. i´ve been painting now for one year and made the same mistake at the beginning. try highlighting with different lighter colors on dark underground - more work but better result. Also use some kind of sand for the bases before adding grass. the figures will look much more interesting. (also excuse for bad english)

Hi mike (or chris??). Let's put some comments on your minis... I love this regiment! If all your army is like that it must be a nice one! Keep it up. You should base the black movement base in the same way as the minis bases. Albert ;)

Not bad for someone doing it for 6 months, nice job. A couple of suggestions. The shadows on the faces are a bit too dark and look very harsh, try diluting the color you are using with the base flesh tone to create a lighten shadow tone. Also use a matte sealer spray to knock down the shiny surfaces. If you could mix a lighter brown shade and hit a few highlights on the clothing it wold really help the figures pop! Good luck and keep painting!
