in my opinion, your miniatures are so close to scoring strong 8's but personally i think your colour choice isn't working the best. i find your colours a bit washed out. it looks like you're highlighting and shading with white and black which IMHO is meaning there isn't great contrast between the colours on your models. i think if you work on your colour schemes more you would score more 8s and 9s. you're a much more skilled painter than me, for sure, and i think with your skill level you should be scoring higher.
