This is a superbly well-painted mini indeeed, the water is absolutely beautiful - you perfectly captured the feeling of depth opening up under the water; I have to admit though that the mini itself if ridiculous and weird, even for comic book character (if that´s what it is). But none of that is your fault of course.
Looks like he's leapt straight from the Silver Age of American comic books. Scale effect is awesome and the painting is perfectly suited to the subject.
